This beautiful lake, in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains, provided an excellent opportunity to combine durable, precast concrete retaining wall units with native timber to create an effective, attractive, economical dam and spillway.

Precast concrete T-Wall® units were transported by heavy-duty trucks over nearly four miles of wilderness road. They were installed in the winter of 2003. Wall units were filled with rock fill, some concrete and capped with timber. This application is a great example of how high quality precast elements can be used in remote locations to build enduring structures.
